Bar manager, Frank Caiafa, author of the new ‘Waldorf Astoria Bar Book (Penguin 2016) and his team pour premium shelf, rare and house-infused spirits, classic cocktails, and contemporary and exclusive libations. By late afternoon, the mood shifts to piano live entertainment and an inspired small plates menu.
The signature cocktail, The Peacock, includes house-infused cranberry vodka, apricot brandy and house-made lemon sour. Other notable offerings include the ‘1860 Manhattan’ made with a hand-selected single cask bourbon from Kentucky and original Waldorf Astoria creation, the ‘Robert Burns’, deliciously modified for today’s palate.
